London-based prog/trance duo (L.O.S.T. & Hatstandy Andy) make their debut full release... If you like their mix of Spyhop's "Domino" (QOH007), their first ever production to be put out, then you are in for a real treat. The Original Mix of MANKIND is a prog/trance tune with massive soundscapes made from the class-a synth-fest. This amazing production is backed up by two mixes by the duo separately, with both keeping the feel of the original to a huge extent. Hatstandy Andy's Breaks Mix is pure breakbeat suited to proggy jocks, and the L.O.S.T. Remix is a prog/trance affair which has a sublime use of those very synths. Mmmm. To top all off we got Tim Richards in on the action, and he has come up with a belter of a mix. As usual with New Zealands finest export, this one sits somewhere between House and Prog.

Two of the most popular acts from the old QOM site DA FRESH & PARALLEL SOUND have done up dj sets, QOH label signing THEE-O has dropped off 2 mixes & a rising jock on the Dublin house scene WILL KINSELLA has weighed in with another. Most of you will know what to expect from the DA FRESH set, electro-heavy progressive house & this set, recorded just days ago, will be sure to please any of you who grabbed his stuff en masse in the past. PARALLEL SOUND, who we usually feature live sets of original tunage from, have taken a bit of a different route for this set. It is basically a dj set of the finest & most current progressive house around. The HOPE RECS signings have defo come up trumps! If you are not familiar with THEE-O's sound, you will be pretty soon. We got loads of his stuff on the way, originals & remixes, and these two sets, entitled "My Style" do exactly that.... show us what his style is all about. He tends to use a lot of synth based progressive house, with massive electro infleunces and to a lesser extent there are techno infleunces in there too. Our final guest dj set this month comes from a rising star on the Dublin scene, WILL KINSELLA. We have had the pleasure of hearing this guys dj sets on more than one occaision since returning to Dublin and loved what we heard so much we had to grab a slice for you guys. This is a blend of quality electro, minimal, and tech-house productions, and what a beautiful journey. Perfect for rockin those lazy brain cells!
